AMT Certification

The Association for Meridian Energy Therapies was founded in 1998 and serves both professionals and those pursuing their own personal development.

The AMT certifies Practitioners, Advanced Practitioners, and Master Practitioners of Meridian Energy Therapies. Practitioner certification requires prior professional training in the field of healing, completion of an Introduction to EFT training plus one weekend Practitioner training, as well as completion of a written paper following several months of using the techniques in practice.

Advanced Certification requires completion of a further weekend training. Master Practitioner certification requires a number of courses with different professionals teaching original techniques and participation in a regional conference.

IMPC Diploma in Meridian-based Psychotherapy and Counselling

The Institute for Meridian-based Psychotherapy and Counselling was founded in 1999 by Willem Lammers from Switzerland and Thomas Weil from Germany. The institute develops and certifies basic, advanced, and special applications training in a broad range of MPC techniques according to well-defined didactic and professional standards. IMPC-certified programmes are taught by experienced trainers with an excellent command of the subject and experience in using these approaches in their own professional practices.

The IMPC training programme includes symptom-oriented treatment procedures in Level I, process-oriented approaches in the advanced training modules, and special applications workshops on working with addictions, trauma, and health issues.

The IMPC diploma requires completion of four 15-hour training modules, 12 units of supervision and appropriate personal therapy using meridian and energy therapies. The AMT Practitioner Certification Training counts as one of the IMPC training modules.
