|
The Institute for
Meridian-based Psychotherapy and Counselling was founded
in 1999 by Willem Lammers from Switzerland and Thomas Weil from
Germany. The institute develops and certifies basic, advanced,
and special applications training in a broad range of MPC techniques
according to well-defined didactic and professional standards.
IMPC-certified
programmes are taught by experienced trainers with an excellent
command of the subject and experience in using these approaches
in their own professional practices.
The IMPC training
programme includes symptom-oriented treatment procedures in
Module I, process-oriented approaches in the advanced training
modules, and special applications workshops on working with
addictions, trauma, and health issues. The diploma requires
completion of four training modules, 12 hours of supervision
and appropriate personal therapy.
